Santoon fabric also known as shantung fabric originated in Shandong, China. It’s a crisp fabric and its lightness causes it to drape easily. It is similar to Dupion Silk but slightly thinner and less irregular.

Designers generally use this fabric for making menswear and womenswear garments. This is popularly used as lining in premium garments.
